Net, Web, HTML, CSS, and Accesibility Icons

Course Objectives

The internet has come a long way since the general public began connecting to it in the early 1990s using dial-up modems. As it continues to evolve it's important to understand the technology that makes it all possible, the history behind it, and where it's headed.

This course aims to teach students about the core concepts of the internet and to build a strong foundation for becoming professional web developers. By the end of this course students should be able to build and design accessible websites from scratch using proper semantics, know how to upload them to a server connected to the internet, and be ready to take their knowledge and skills to the next level for a career in web development.
